bio

Originally from Rhode Island, I studied Criminal Justice/Sociology at Castleton State College and soon after realized that the world didn't need another lawyer. I got a job in NewYork City as a production assistant for a fillm company and fell in love with film and photography. I was in charge of opening mail...tons of headshots and thought how much fun would that be to work with actors. I started off shooting on weekends for friends, for free, and I started charging friends of friends. Soon I was able to quit my job and I've been shooting professionally ever since. Actors, Athletes, Musicians, Writers, Captains Of Industry...
I think portraits should look just like you...but on your best possible day. And they should tell a story...the lights have to be on...someone's gotta be home. My work has appeared in New York Magazine, SPIN, The New York Times, Pilates Style, NFL Magazine and TV Guide to name a few.
Other clients include Scholastic Books, Atlantic Records, Childrens TV Workshop, BNY Mellon Bank, Viking-Penguin Books and a recent ad campaign for Bethenny Frankel's Skinny Girl Margaritas.
